The Feast of Pentecost
Divine voice of reason and love,
Of compassion and understanding: Speak gently and clearly so that I may know Your will.
Give me the patience to listen and the desire to seek Your counsel and instruction.
Grant me the understanding to hear Your teachings in every voice
From all people, In every moment of need.
Open my heart to others, To their suffering, To their call for help.
Open my heart to others, to their suffering, to their call for help.
Open my heart to love and laughter, song of dance, beauty and grace So that I remember to celebrate Your gifts day by day.
Divine creator of spirit and light, teach me to be present to all that I see and all that I feel, In truth, without fear.
Teach me to be present for others, in humble service.
Blessed are you Teacher and Guide, You make Your wisdom known to those who ask And those who listen, willingly and patiently,
To the voices of Your creation.
Blessed are You, Your Voice resounds throughout creation.  Amen.

The Center, commonly referred to as Room 6,  has become the hub for our local LGBTQ+ community by providing a safe space for groups to meet, referral services, providing peer counseling, as well as discussion groups, art projects, dinner groups and more. The Center currently operates the only dedicated all-inclusive LGBTQ+ youth program ages 13-18 in the Panhandle of Florida.  St. Andrews Episcopal Church is a beacon of light for the LGBTQ community and for all people who suffer the consequences of oppression, prejudice and discrimination.
The message form Bishop Russell and Reverend Margaret is clear: Love is Love. The Center would like to invite the entire community of St Andrews Episcopal Church to join us on June 8th from 12-6pm in McKenzie Park for a family friendly festival that celebrates life and love. The Festival will include craft vendors, food trucks, games, raffles, live music, stilt walkers, balloon twisters, face painters and MORE.
For more information about Bible School, or if you would like to help, contact Sally Brewer at 207-305-6360.  Bible School is being taken care of by the Clericus, and most especially The Rev. Mary Alice Mathison and Leigh Jacobson from Grace.
There will be a group of sixth graders visiting St. Andrew's June 21-21.  If you have any small jobs these young missionaries  could do to help you after the storm please contact Sally Brewer.
