Applications are now closed for the Aboriginal Health Practitioner (AHP) Traineeship positions at Danila Dilba.

Earlier this month, Danila Dilba hosted an AHP Traineeship information session at our Rapid Creek clinic with 25 attendees.

The information session provided a great opportunity to engage our job seekers and students in the community who are looking for a career in health.

Session attendees travelled from all parts of the Territory to learn more about the valuable AHP role, which is a highly respected and supported career pathway at Danila Dilba.

Our HR team, Teresa Raines, Lecturer from the Batchelor Institute and Maida Stewart, CQI Officer at DDHS provided information about the traineeship, the AHP course units and the Batchelor Campus.

In previous years, the AHP Traineeships have attracted enormous interest among the local community.

We wish all 2019 AHP Traineeship applicants the best of luck and look forward to welcoming more AHP’s into the team at Danila Dilba Health Services.
