Combine Multiple Licenses into a Single License via ATI's Client Services 4.6
ATI has made it easier for customers to purchase extra/additional toolkit(s) and use them together with an existing license. VISION 6.0.1 and Client Services 4.6 now supports multiple licenses to be active at one time and allows them to be combined into a single license for product use.
VISION's Combine License Feature allows for a standard set of toolkits to be expanded by adding new toolkits and functionality for a varied amount of time. This plays well with ATI’s Subscription licenses allowing users to do things such as Rapid Prototyping work for a few months rather than purchase a full license.
The application itself will be unaware that more than one license is being used, so it will receive a license back from Client Services as per previous practice. The type of license files currently supported in Client Services with this feature are USB license keys and license files (.LICX). Pre-Release and FlexNet licenses are not supported.

How to Combine Licenses using ATI’s Client Services
Merging licenses allows any number of licenses for a single product type to be added to Client Services. When a product requests a license from Client Services, all licenses for that product type will be merged into a single set of license values before being returned to the application for processing. The application itself will not know that more than one license is being used, it will get a license back from Client Services as it always has.
