Product Obsolescence Announcement
ATI would like to announce the official obsolescence of the following products; M5/M6 Memory Emulators and many of the A7 Serial Interfaces. Consequently, ATI can no longer guarantee the ability to support new builds or RMA repairs. While supplies last, there is a limited inventory of parts and units available for existing integrations.
There is no direct replacement for the M5 or M6 Memory Emulators due to their reliance on older/obsolete calibration methods.
The A8 and the upcoming A9 Serial Interfaces are direct replacements for most currently available ECU microprocessors using the A7.
Please contact your local sales office for more information regarding alternative solutions, replacements, remaining stock, and other options.

File Recovery vs. Create Backups
There are currently two different ways that VISION can create backups and/or recover files in the event of an unwanted shutdown. One feature that has existed within VISION for some time is the ‘Create Backups’ option. With VISION 6.x there is a new feature named ‘File Recovery.’ See below for how each feature behaves and how they differ.
