With thanks to Geoff T and Graham Ca, we have a replacement for BreakaWey. Omega has taken up GetaWey’s spot on the lower island, with GetaWey now racked at WLARC; with thanks to several hands-on from the Men’s squad to row it to WLARC. BreakaWey is up for sale so if you hear of any interest in a 32 yo Coxed Quad/Four Janousek, please do email captain@weybridgerowing.org.uk.

With thanks to Nick, the much-loved but long-time out-of-action Hummingbird will be returned to service shortly.

Thanks also to Lisa for kick-starting the process to make better use of our current site, from grounds and rack space to boathouse and clubhouse. The results of a free survey conducted by the Rowing Centre will be shared soon.

Spotted during the Big Clearup as being worth something, Dave ‘eBay King’ Cox has already sold a set of old dumbbells, for a tidy £94. They are in the boathouse awaiting collection from Dave, and Dave only. Anyone attempting to lay claim to them is NOT the buyer! Many thanks Dave.

Hyne Cup

February 24th is the agreed date for this year's Hyne Cup, with Walton RC playing host for 2019's private match. Please update your availability in the usual place for vice captains to make the rounds in forming crews.

Quiz Night

Get thinking about your teams, following the Hyne Cup, in the early evening, will be the first quiz night for the year. We may even make a bimonthly* habit of it, thanks to Peter Hampson.
