Nominate a Member - November Spotlight
|
|
This Woman Crush Wednesday we are excited to introduce our December Member Nominated Spotlight for 2021-2022, Juliet Tenaglia!
This year is Juliet’s 3rd as an active member; she grew up in Baldwin, but finished high school in Georgia, went to college in Florida and after graduation, moved back up to NY - living in Manhattan and Long Island. Professionally, Juliet is the Owner and CEO of Bella Cleaning Inc. a residential & commercial cleaning company! She is most excited this league year to hopefully get back to meeting in person again soon! Her favorite Junior League memory is her provisional project – Positively Me! Juliet advised, “we worked with a group of girls, encouraging their self-esteem and self-worth. I remember the girls each saying one thing they liked about themselves out loud - which is often awkward/uncomfortable to do. Building the girls up and encouraging their responses and seeing the smiles light up their faces made the whole day so worth it!”
When asked why did you initially join The Junior League? Juliet responded, “As an entrepreneur and small business owner, my life revolves around my business. I wanted to do something for myself, personally, that didn't have anything to do with work. And the bonus is being able to help others while I'm at it!”
Thank you, Juliet, for being a wonderful League member and an excellent example of voluntarism!
