Dinner attendance is not required to be in the photo or attend the Social,
all members are welcome!

Thrift Shop Volunteer Hours!
Active Members are required to fulfill a minimum of 5 hours volunteering in our Thrift Shop!
There are many great opportunities now that we are reopened to get those hours completed before the end of the League year!
Help: Price Items, Monitor the Fitting Rooms, Learn and (Wo)man the Register,
Accept Donations, Sort Donations, and So Much More!!

Below are several weekend days for in person volunteer shifts at the thrift store helping the staff prepare for our annual inventory audit. You can sign up on Digital Cheetah or you can email Remi (housechair@jlli.org), Graciela and Zina (thriftshopchair@jlli.org) and Cristine (PresidentElect@jlli.org) to confirm your slot.
We also have some weekday availability, 10 AM - 5 PM from 6/15-6/24 to work alongside of our staff. If interested, please reach out to aforementioned contacts listed above, to coordinate a time.
If you are unable to to commit to any of the open time slots, please reach out to Cristine Bruno - PresidentElect@jlli.org immediately, so we can work on an alternative option for you.

Thrift Shop Contributions!
Members are required to contribute a minimum of $250 (active), $125 (active elite), and $150 (provisional) worth of donations to the Thrift Shop!
|
|
In preparation of our yearly inventory, all outside donation appointments have been suspended.
We will only be accepting member donations on:
Saturday 6/11, Sunday 6/12 and Saturday 6/18.

We are proud to announce that we were able to provide 80+bags of baby products to The Little Angels, which supports the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at Stony Brook University Hospital.

The Junior League of Long Island sponsored a booth at this year's Special Olympics by hosting a craft table, and lawn game area for the athletes, their friends and family!

The Junior League of Long Island Sustainers raised a glass in honor of Alicia Aguilera and Susan Sommerville, whose leaves were added to our tree this year.
They gathered in the Thrift Shop for a short program with a Champagne Toast followed by a beautiful dinner.
