Dear Members, 

It is time to start thinking about what you would like to do in the league for next year! New positions begin July 1, 2022.  This information is specifically to slate for members who are interested in holding a position on either the Board of Directors or as a Committee Chairwoman. If you are not interested in a leadership role, please just respond on the survey that you are not interested at this time. You will be able to sign up for a committee member placement at our May Placement Fair.  

Here is a link to the 2022-2023 Leadership Placement Guide which explains each of the leadership roles within The Junior League of Long Island. Here is a link to the Leadership Nomination Form. You can nominate yourself for a position or recommend a peer. You can either fill out the hard copy and email it to your advisor, OR you may opt to fill out the form digitally (see below). The form is the same, but we are providing both options for submission. Please respond by December 31.

Once we have received all of the responses, the Nominating Committee (comprised of myself and the advisors) will hold a slating meeting.  You will be notified by your advisor after the meeting.
