The Spring Fair was held on Saturday, May 1st.  Thank you to the volunteers and the vendors for making the day a great success!  
 

 

May is Maternal Mental Awareness Month. For the last three years The Junior League of Long Island has worked with Little Angels Fund to assemble and donate 50 Welcome Packages to support families of newborns who unexpected enter the NICU Stony Brook Medicine. Thank you to everyone who donated items, money, and/or time to make this year's project a success. We'd like to especially thank our project chair Sandra Wilson and our generous sponsors Perfectly Premie, Raindew Manhasset, Babylon Rotary Club and Books4Kids.
 

If you haven't been to the Thrift Shop recently, please take a trip!  There are always lots of great finds and you will also be able to check out the fresh, new window display!  Many thanks to Chris Cooper, a talented window display designer who donates his time to the League, for making the Thrift Shop look amazing!

The Junior League of Long Island will hold a second Bridal Sample Sale on May 22nd.

JLLI Member and Treasurer Feiona Churaman's daughter Ella, is a future Junior Leaguer in the making!  She arranged a fundraiser and donated over 200 pairs of socks to her local church, The New Jerusalem Church in St. James.  Feiona shared that the "The initial fundraising started by her finding money in her wallet ... then she told some of her family including me and we donated as well."  Well done Ella!
