Greetings from the Maine Sustainable Agriculture Society - We'll be returning to your inboxes in a new newsletter format later this summer. Stay tuned for updates on a new aquaponics farm in Brunswick and an agriculture engineering program at University of Maine. In the meantime, please help us share the Maine Year Round Producers Survey below. Thanks and keep in touch!
Maine Year Round Producers Survey
Farmers and businesses involved or interested in greenhouse, season extension or year-round growing in Maine are invited to share input on industry needs through a survey being administered this summer by the Maine Sustainable Agriculture Society (MESAS).
Information from the survey will be used to guide development of the Sustainable Year-Round Agriculture Cluster, an initiative funded through the Maine Technology Institute and launched in 2014 with the intent of connecting technology, engineering, research and development resources to support and expand year-round agriculture production in Maine.
The survey is open through MIDNIGHT ON JULY 29. To download a printable version or FMI, visit us at www.mesas.org.

MESAS is a farmer-led organization providing information and resources to help Maine farms achieve “triple bottom line results”, regardless of the scale they operate at, or the production methods they use. MESAS supports profitable farms, healthy ecosystems and strong communities by coordinating research into emerging trends and technologies, serving as a hub for decision making information, and conducting pilot projects and demonstrations that provide practical experience in a peer-to-peer learning environment.
