While the Ontario government has lifted the ban on golf courses, in an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19, we have made the decision to open the course to Members only (including significant others with whom members are isolating). Members as defined by our bylaws are cottage owners, their parents, children and grandchildren.
Members do not include siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends.
At this time, we will not allow each cottage to have 7 guests per day and ask for your cooperation.
Golf carts should not be shared between households, and riders on a golf cart should consist of members of a single household only. Those who choose to walk should maintain a 6’ distance.
Maximum number of golfers on a tee is 4.
Please tee off from #1 only. Do not jump ahead of any group.
If you arrive at the first tee and there is a group there, please wait until that group is on the green before teeing off. Be sure to maintain appropriate social distancing while waiting.
As an additional precaution, we have removed any communal, shared, or frequently touched items. These include benches, chairs, ball cleaners, scorecards etc.
Flagsticks will not be removed from the green, however Members are expected to not remove or touch the flagstick, as this is a high touch point that may lead to virus transmission. We have inserted a piece of foam to keep the ball ½ inch below the hole so that there is no need to touch or remove the flagstick.
Please pick up your broken tees and dispose of them at your cottage.
If you wish to submit your scorecard towards your handicap, please keep track of:
The golf committee will collect these scores and input them in their system at the end of June.
