If you are ill or unable to attend for any reason, we invite you to participate online via the Apopka Seventh-day Adventist Church YouTube Channel, where our services are live-streamed and where you can find playlists of past programs and events (click HERE). You can also find the link to our worship service livestream on our WEBSITE.
When you return tithes (10% of income), you support the Worldwide Gospel Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Our featured offering for today is "Florida Education."  Please remember our Building Fund, which will soon be part of our Local Church Budget once we received our "Certificate of Occupancy" for our expanded facility and we begin full mortgage payments. You can give a physical offering using a tithe envelope and deposit it in the box in the lobby or give it online at

Below is a snapshot of our Local Church Budget, including our Monthly Annual needs, how much has been received for each, and how much is still needed.

Grand Opening - After many years of waiting, what a blessing it will be to occupy our new building expansion! However... due to circumstances we could not have foreseen when our Grand Opening was first scheduled, we will need to postpone this event. We will begin with a "soft opening," the date for which is yet to be determined. A new date for our Grand Opening Sabbath will be announced as soon as possible. Thank you for your prayers and your patience.

TCI (Total Community Involvement)

  • TCI Ministry opportunities in 2023 will focus on optimizing our community's health and wellness. Please join us on January 14, 2:00 pm, to learn more about how to be involved.
  • Shut-in Ministry: On January 21 at 2:00 pm, all are invited to bring cheer and blessings to some of our members who are unable to attend church in person. All ages are welcome to join!
  • Everyone at Apopka SDA Church can be involved in ministry. Check out the TCI table in the lobby and find out how you can be involved!
  • Prayer Line Apopka - Submit praises, thanksgivings, or prayer requests using a Prayer Card or Connection Card, or email

  • "Recharge Wednesdays," an in-person evangelistic Bible Study, begins Wednesday, January 18 in the Fellowship Hall! Perhaps you know someone outside of our church family who is searching or asking questions about God, the Bible, how to make sense of the world, etc. Invite them to join you!
  • Be sure to check the "Save the Dates" Evangelism Training Calendar on the table in the foyer! We are partnering with the Southern Adventist University School of Religion to extend the ministry of Christ to our community by sharing the hope and wholeness of the Gospel!
  • NOTE: The May 19-21 "Summer SALT" Training has been canceled.

Kids Zone -

  • Help is needed at the Welcome Desk and in the classrooms! Training will be provided. Contact Curlette Reid at (407) 375-2556 and let her know you are willing to help enhance our ministry to children!

Men's Chorus -

  • Are you interested in being part of a Men's Chorus when we hold our Grand Opening for the new Worship Center? Contact Mack Rucker at Plan to come to our rehearsal on January 14 at 4:00 PM in the Youth Chapel.

Pathfinders -

  • We need materials for an upcoming Pathfinder honor! If you have new and used post cards, please bring them to Myriam Ordaz.

Good Neighbor Place -

  • Going forward, donations will be accepted on Sundays from 12-3, Mondays from 10-2, and Wednesdays from 10-6.
  • The need for travel-size toiletries is ongoing for our homeless clients. Thank you for your continued support of our ministry. We also need men's long pants. A donation box is in the lobby, or you can drop off your donation during the hours listed above.
  • SOS! Good Neighbor place needs dedicated volunteers willing to give 2 to 4 hours per week on Sundays 12-3, Mondays 10-2 or Wednesdays 10-6 to help with the many tasks that need to be done. Please stop by the store during any of the above times and let us know when you can help. You can also contact Ingrid Mergenthaler at 603-475-5585 for further information. We are located on 199 S. Park Ave, Apopka.

Needed: helpers to move everything in the church offices and Sabbath School classrooms into the youth room so new flooring can be installed. Meet at the church from 9:00AM to noon this Sunday. Bring hand trucks and dollies if you have some. Thank you for helping in advance!

Notice re: Literature -

  • Any literature distributed in the church should come through the Church Office for approval and distribution.

Facility Use -
  • Please submit any requests for facility use to the office at least two weeks in advance using the "Facility Use Forms" (which can be found in the workroom outside the Church Office window and on the Literature Rack in the foyer upstairs.).
