The purpose of this workshop is to initiate a dialogue and to develop networks that facilitate access for international scientists to national research facilities and infrastructure in the Arctic (also referred to as “transnational” or “cross-border” access): Identifying challenges, best practices, and next steps.

The ARICE 4th General Assembly took place as videconference on the 11th and 12th of March 2021.
At this meeting, the ARICE consortium planned and discussed the upcoming activities for 2021 to reach the project’s objectives.
ARICE project duration prolonged 12 months
The duration of ARICE has been extended 12 months (until 31st of December 2022) to allow the completion of activities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, including the implementation of all ARICE cruises that were postponed due to travel restrictions.
