Tomorrow, The Academy will participate in the ACSI Day of Prayer. All students and staff will circle around the campus to pray these specific prayers and Scriptures in unity. We ask our parents and grandparents to join us in praying. You may pray through the carline during drop off and pick up, park and pray on campus any time from 11am-2pm, or pray from where you are. God is faithful; we are Warrior strong.
DAY OF PRAYER
Light for Christ in the World
- Matthew 5:15 “…let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
- Prayer: Lord, would you transform our lives so that our walk with you shines brightly to others for your glory? Help us to share that “God is light and in him is no darkness at all.” (1 John 1:5)
Health
- Psalm 3:7-8 “Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Have respect for the lord and avoid evil. That will bring health to your body. It will make your bones strong.”
- Jeremiah 30:17 “…I will restore you to health…”
- Prayer: Dear God, would you please protect us from sickness and make us strong and healthy so that we can serve you? Would you bring healing to ________who we know is not well right now.
Expand Our Influence, Facilities, Capacity
- 1 Chronicles 9:9-10 “Now Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, ‘Oh, Lord, bless me indeed and expand my territory.’”
- Prayer: We ask you, Lord, to increase our capacity to serve more families in this community. Please provide the facilities we need to teach and train our students. We ask you specifically, Lord, for a gymnasium for the school. Thank you for orchestrating the divine path for us.
May we be Passionate Followers of Christ
- Psalms 69:9 “My love for your house burns in me like a fire.”
- Psalm 42:1 “A deer longs for streams of water. God, I long for you in the same way.”
- Prayer: God, please stir in us a desire for you that is unquenchable. Draw us to yourself and cause us to long to be with you daily.
Let us Lead in Serving God and Others
- 1 Corinthians 12:7 “The Spirit has given each of us a special way of serving others.”
- Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to see people’s needs and be a blessing to others today. May we honor you and serve others according to the gifts you have given to us.
Be Strong and Courageous
- Joshua 1:9 “Here is what I am commanding you to do. Be strong and brave. Do not be afraid. Do not lose hope. I am the Lord your God. I will be with you everywhere you go.”
- Prayer: God, may your power work in us and fill us so that situations do not define us, but our faith and hope is in you, our Rock, our Way, our Truth, our Light. We are needy, you are wealthy. We exalt you!

This week’s servant of the week is 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Alicia Singleton. Mrs. Singleton is always on the move serving others. She spends many of her hours away from school helping our homeless friends in the area with food, showers, cards from Academy students, and meeting any needs she sees. She also coordinates all staff birthday announcements and makes sure everyone feels very loved and celebrated. She is “all in” at The Academy, quick to lend a hand to help with marketing and assist in any way she can. She loves Jesus and leads worship for 3rd and 4th grade chapel. We are thankful for Mrs. Singleton’s heart for Christ, and how she serves our community in so many ways.
