Fortunately, although life remains uniquely unpredictable in innumerable ways, much has changed for the better since this time last year. During this most unusual time, it has been encouraging and inspiring to see everyone’s eagerness, commitment, and enthusiasm to attend, participate in, and support our shul, Beth Joseph Congregation.
This year, we look forward to new and engaging programming and opportunities for all ages and interests. As the pandemic and its shockwaves continue, your support and membership are crucial. We hope you will partner with us in our mission to nurture and grow our community of tefilla, friendship, shared celebration of our holidays, chesed, dedication to our members, achdus (unity), commitment to halacha, and Torah inspiration.
Please complete the 5782 BJC Membership form (click here to view/print) or use the online form at the shul website. Payment can be made by check, by using the donation button on the shul website, or by submitting your credit card information to the office.
Please note the following points:
• MASK POLICY: As per our current policy, all unvaccinated persons – both adults and children – must wear a mask while on BJC premises. As the CDC and the RCA review best practices, this policy is subject to change.
• KIBBUDIM: This year, we will hold a silent auction to bid for kibbudim. There are five (5) Aliyot both days of Rosh Hashanah (minimum bid: $360), and pesicha, hagba, and gelila (minimum bid: $180). [Maftir, both days, is reserved for members who have yahrzeit on Rosh Hashanah.] Please submit bids with payment by Monday, August 23. No monies will be deposited until after the highest bidder is determined. If two members bid the same amount, they will each be contacted to finalize the amount they are bidding. If any Aliyot are not sold, we will conduct a live auction.
• PAYMENT: Please submit the form and complete payment of dues (or setup monthly payments) by Monday, August 23, 2021. To discuss membership payments, please contact our treasurer, Shaya Schimel, at (602) 463-2674.
In this new year of 5782, may the Almighty grant us all good health, happiness, and the strength to pull through our challenges.
