Farmers Market Manager Conference
March 15 - 19
This year's conference will be virtual. We've designed the conference based on responses of the survey we sent out the end of last year. The conference will be over 5 days each day covering a single topic for an hour and a half from 1:30 - 3:00pm.
Soon enough it will be time to hold vendor meetings.
Assuming it still won't be a good idea to do in-person meetings, we are offering to host virtual meetings for anyone who needs them. Simply let us the date and time of the meeting and we'll set it up in zoom and send you the link to your meeting that you can share with everyone involved with the meeting. Email: bfm3@psu.edu
Farm Markets Post COVID - Feb. 10
As part of the Mid-Atlantic Fruit & Vegetable Convention we will be hosting a panel of retail farm markets to discuss what changes to their business have been made during the pandemic and what will stick moving forward. Feb. 10 from 2:30 to 4pm. Information and registration can be found here.
Farmers Markets, On-farm Markets and Public Markets are essential businesses with short supply chains that supply our communities with healthy food.
The Farm Market Finder has recently added another searchable layer to it. Ypu can search farms that host agritourism events. To view the interactive click here.
