Minority Series - "The Good Fit" Residency Panel
“The Good Fit” residency panel is an open discussion that will allow current students to gain more insight into the application process and day-to-day life of a resident. This program was created because we often hear how vague the selection process can be. What makes a candidate “the good fit?”. We invited a host of amazing pharmacists to share their experiences and discuss their perspectives as candidates of color on Tuesday, March 5th at 6pm. The panel is comprised to offer positive representation in the field. Panel members include recent COP graduate, Dr. Felix Okotete, a current PGY-1 resident at Piedmont Athens Regional; Dr. Meshell Maxam, a board-certified infectious diseases clinical pharmacist at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida; and Dr. Ericka V. Hylick a Medical Science Liaison with SUN Pharma. You don’t want to miss out on this great opportunity to learn and connect! Contact Kyra with any questions! kml67683@uga.edu
