Join us on March 4, during Org Hour, as we invite Dr. Stone to speak to us regarding her current experiences in women’s health during the pandemic, in addition to her current initiative regarding pharmacist prescribing power for hormonal contraception. We can't wait to join her on this journey and learn what we as student pharmacists can do to help advocate for this important step in pharmacy and women’s health!

Minority Series "The Good Fit" Residency Panel
“The Good Fit” residency panel is an open discussion that will allow current students to gain more insight into the application process and day-to-day life of a resident. This program was created because we often hear how vague the selection process can be. What makes a candidate “the good fit?”. We invited a host of amazing pharmacists to share their experiences and discuss their perspectives as candidates of color. The panel is comprised to offer positive representation in the field. Panel members include recent COP graduate, Dr. Felix Okotete, a current PGY-1 resident at Piedmont Athens Regional; Dr. Meshell Maxam, a board-certified infectious disease clinical pharmacist at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida; and Dr. Ericka V. Hylick a Medical Science Liaison with SUN Pharma. You don’t want to miss out on this great opportunity to learn and connect on Friday, March 5th at 5pm!
