Cabrillo 2+2 CSUMB Student Highlight with Lizette Zuniga Zamudio

“Being part of the 2+2 program has boosted my confidence through the roof! With my awesome counselor as well as the program coordinator’s loving support, they have and continue to motivate me to keep working hard. They stay on top of me, follow up with me, offer their help, and show they truly care for me and my children. Being a single mom is not easy, but with this program, I was able to see I am not alone. I was able to meet other students with similar career goals, creating amazing friendships at the same time. The 2+2 program has made me more excited than ever about my career, it will always have a special place in my heart."

Kinesiology Update with Mark Ramsey
Kinesiology faculty for both Cabrillo and CSUMB are excited to bring our faculty and students together in Spring 2022!  Cabrillo College will be developing an exercise physiology lab with Title V grant funds and we plan to work with CSUMB faculty and students to share this lab to educate our Kinesiology students on how to properly use this equipment, obtain data, and help students meet their fitness and health goals.

This is a great opportunity to prepare our students to be successful in their educational goals and in the workforce.  Cabrillo Kinesiology students will also travel to Seaside to give them exposure to the CSUMB campus and their Kinesiology program.  This relationship will work to motivate students to transfer and continue their education toward a career in Kinesiology.
