 Voting Rights Advocates Needed

Are you interested in advocacy action to expand voting rights?  The League is is a co-sponsor of ACA 6.  This is a constitutional amendment that would restore voting rights to people who are on parole and no longer incarcerated.  The ACA 6 coalition is scheduling meetings with state legislators NOW (through August 12). Citizens Redistricting Commission

Time is running out for initial applications to serve on the 2020 Citizens Redistricting Commission.  August 9 is the last day to submit applications for this opportunity to shape California's future.  Check it out here.
 

Measure C Citizen Oversight Committee

Since 1986 a half-cent sales tax has been collected in Fresno County to fund improvements to our  transportation system.  Here's you chance to influence how that money is used.  The Measure C Oversight Committee is searching for new members.  Here's more info about the duties and how to apply.
