Among all the specialties, cardiology is arguably one of the disciplines that requires instant decision making skills. And that is why quick-witted, experienced cardiologist Dr. Henry Kok has always had a special interest in this field of study. After graduating from the University of Sydney in Australia, Dr. Kok had the opportunities to work in Singapore and Hong Kong. He then pursued a fellowship in Canada. All these eye-opening experiences of studying and working abroad have allowed him to apply his medical expertise to different healthcare cultures, and performing balloon angioplasty is one of the interesting experiences that he had. On April 1 2019, Dr. Kok joined us in the cardiology team, providing service to more patients in need.

若要談到最考急智的醫科，必定非心臟專科莫屬。擅長處理緊急難題、每每迎難而上的郭應龍醫生，在習醫時便決心修讀心臟專科，希望能在危急關頭幫助病人、救回生命。郭醫生於澳洲悉尼大學畢業後，先後在香港及星加坡工作，其後亦遠赴加拿大深造醫術。曾在多個城市生活過的他，分享他從「通波仔」手術中看出每個地方的醫療文化及體驗。在今年4月1日，郭應龍醫生加盟本院，運用他多年的急症室經驗，進一步為更多病人提供心臟科的服務。
