To cater to the various needs of our patients and their caretakers, some of our newly renovated U500 rooms on the fifth floor commenced services in April. The second phase of renovations is in progress and mild noisy work is expected to be ended by late July. In the meantime, the Hospital remains committed to minimizing the noise and disruption caused by renovation works, and looks forward to fully opening the fifth floor by October. The all-new seventh floor U700 rooms are expected to be completed by October and will commence services in November, offering patients a new standard of care and comfort.
為體貼病人及照顧者的不同需要，部分五樓外科病房U500已於四月投入服務，第二階段的裝修工程正在進行中，引致輕微噪音的工作預計 7 月下旬結束。院方會盡力減少工程產生的噪音或其他滋擾，期望於本年十月全面為市民服務；而全新七樓病房U700工程預計於十月完成，並於十一月投入服務，為市民帶來耳目一新的住院體驗。
