Our newly renovated Unit 500 ward commenced services last month. Modern, spacious, and comfortable, the ward was designed with patient safety in mind and is equipped with advanced technologies, providing a refreshing and pleasant in-patient experience.
 

To celebrate the unveiling of the new ward, an opening and dedication ceremony was held on December 7, which saw the attendance of many guests, including Board Chairman, Pr. Daniel Jiao; Board Member, Mr. Steve Rose; President and CEO, Mr. Alex Lan; CFO, Mr. Andy Cen; as well as members of our management team and doctors.

全新裝修的五樓病房U500於上月中旬正式啟用，環境優雅舒適，充分考慮病人的安全，配備各類先進設備，務求令病人及訪客耳目一新，提供最優質的住院體驗。

本月七日，剪綵儀式於U500舉行，出席嘉賓人數眾多，非常榮幸邀請到香港港安醫院董事局主席焦望新牧師、董事局成員Mr Steve Rose、香港港安醫院院長 / 行政總裁凌宏寶先生、首席財務總監岑良先生，聯同管理層及多位醫生一同為病房進行剪綵儀式。

The Kuo family has generously donated HK$880,000 to HKAH-SR for the purchase of an intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) machine for our Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Center (CCIC). A donor appreciation ceremony was held on Nov 24, 2022 at CCIC with Mrs. Lisa Tang, Mr. Stanford Kuo and Dr. Peter King attending.  This is an act of gratitude from the Kuo family as Mrs. Carmen Kuo wanted to express her deep appreciation for Dr. Harry Miller, our Adventist missionary doctor who conducted eye surgery for her more than half a century ago.

承蒙郭氏家族慷慨捐款88萬港元，香港港安心導管檢查及介入治療中心購置一部血管內超聲波儀器。本院於2022年11月24日舉行支票頒贈儀式，並很榮幸邀得郭氏家族代表唐郭妤淺女士、郭大熾先生及金天任醫生出席。這項善舉是郭氏家族為向本院傳教士米勒耳醫生表達謝意，感謝他於半個世紀前為郭楊曼影女士施行眼科手術。

To further enhance the patient experience, our out-patient registration and cashier areas on the ground floor have implemented a new queuing system. Visitors are no longer required to line up for registration, and instead, may proceed directly to the waiting area after picking up their queuing ticket. The projected waiting time for each patient is indicated on the television screens in the waiting area, as well as via the QR code printed on each queuing ticket, providing visitors with enhanced clarity and convenience.
