In collaboration with the PA Council for International Education, MCIU invites you to the PACIE 2022 Conference. Educators at all levels, kindergarten through graduate study, are welcome. Participants will experience an inspiring and critical conference. Plenaries and sessions will be grounded in sharing our assets and insights across the state. Many of those same exceptional presenters will challenge our Commonwealth community to wrestle through the critical issues we must address to move forward together, connected with the rest of the world, in ways that advance justice, inclusion, and sustainability.

Gifted and Universal Design for Learning


Through this unique learning experience, you will gain familiarity with Universal Design for Learning through an experience at Evansburg State Park. This session strives to support participants with developing a UDL mindset, explore how place is connected to intention, make connections with UDL based on your individual role, all while having fun! In true UDL fashion, we will have multiple hiking paths that will allow all learners to engage in the day.

Student Assistance Program (SAP) K-12 Training

 
What is SAP? The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Student Assistance Program (SAP) is designed to assist school personnel in identifying issues including alcohol, tobacco, other drugs, mental health issues which pose a barrier to a student's success. SAP helps students overcome these barriers in order that they may achieve, remain in school, and advance. Sessions are available in person or online - follow the links below for details and registration.

UDL Ambassadors: Join us in a collaborative virtual space to learn with like-minded influencers of professional development across the state and beyond. UDLPartners will provide learning around crafting professional development opportunities utilizing a UDL mindset.
