TEAM FAIR Clean Up Tonight
Please join us tonight Monday September 26th from 6-8 pm for our 2nd TEAM FAIR Clean Up Night. We need lots of help to clean out barns and buildings and get things put away from the fair. Stop in at the Jr. Fair Office to sign in and get a job assignment. This is great community service opportunity for all 4-H clubs and FFA chapters.
Poultry and Rabbit Meat Pick Up Tonight
Just a friendly reminder for any buyers that purchased poultry or rabbits at the fair and had them processed to keep the meat - you must pick up the meat tonight at the Fairgrounds Event Center in the west loading dock room near the Swine Barn from 5 - 7 pm. Any meat not picked up by 7 pm will be donated to a local charity.

Club STAR Awards, the Excellence in 4-H Award (highest teen honor), Meritorious Service Award (highest volunteer award), and the County Award Medal (project area awards) applications are all due October 5th. Keeping with tradition, the Junior Leaders Club and Senior Fair Board are planning to assemble and donate Bikes to various local groups as we have done for more than 15 years now. However, with rising costs - the cost to purchase a bike has gone up to $100. Donations of any amount are welcome but we know many clubs have voted over the years to sponsor 1, 2, 3, or more bikes. Please consider supporting this wonderful cause at whatever level you're able to. Checks should be made payable to Wayne County 4-H Committee and are due to the Extension Office by October 5th.
