There is still time for your class, school or eco-council to get involved in one, several or many of the 150 events for primary and secondary schools!
To help set the scene for the week of events, we have prepared a simple powerpoint for assemblies, introducing climate change, global and local action and the role your school can play in addressing the issue. You can download it here and adapt for your school.
Finally, please complete this short survey to tell us which YCS events you are attending and/or how your school may get involved with an exciting climate focused event for head teachers in Spring 2021.
Youth Climate Summit 9-13 November 2020
There are over 150 online events for schools and teachers to join for FREE.
You can see the primary programme here and secondary programme here (including events run by St Lukes Primary, ONCA and Sussex Wildlife Trust).
Sign up to online sessions here and do tell us what events you are attending here!
Let's Go Zero
The Youth Climate summit will also see the launch of Let's Go Zero - a campaign for schools to pledge to be carbon zero by 2030. Schools across the country will reduce their own climate impact and demand greater government support to achieve this goal.
This supports Brighton & Hove City Council's Carbon Neutral 2030 pledge.
Please do get in touch if you'd like more information on any of the above
