NOT EVERYTHING MUST DISAPPEAR!

Human activities - pollution, overfishing, CO2 emissions, industrial operations - are responsible for the acceleration of climate change and consequently for the disappearance of marine ecosystems and biodiversity.
About 50% of the coral reef cover has disappeared since the 1870s mainly due to global warming and ocean acidification.
It is estimated that more than half of the world's marine species will be threatened with extinction by the end of the century if protective measures and drastic changes in the way we consume are not taken.

So say no to #BlackFriday, but yes to #BlueFriday!

LILIAN DAUZAT & GUILHEM ORLHAC ROWING ACROSS THE ATLANTIC OCEAN

Big up for the amazing duo and the 5000km they will be rowing !
On November 21st, Lilian & Guilhem left from El Hierro in the Canary Islands on their 7.3m rowing boat. By 2-hour shifts, the two athletes hope to reach Martinique in less than fifty days. This race, labeled "Race for Pure Ocean", aims, beyond a sporting performance, to raise awareness on the environmental emergency and to help raise funds for scientific research.
