2022 District Assembly Report - D.S. Steve Ottley
I continue to be amazed at God’s faithfulness. We will all admit these past two and a half years have been trying and challenging. We can also testify that God has been faithful through it all. He has sustained us and has provided for us. I believe that Canada Central District has a future filled with hope and missional vitality.

NMI CONVENTION, 2022
Remember these words of Jesus! “Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest!” (Jn 4:35).
Jesus spoke this truth, to his disciples, as they admonished each other, for none had arrived with food for Jesus. As they argued, Jesus reminded them, his real food, “…was to do the will of Him who sent me”(Jn 4:34).
Continue to pray for God's workers in His harvest field, as they partner with Him, sharing His love, speaking His Word, and being the hands and feet of Jesus wherever they go.

CARE & CONNECTION - This will be our new pathway to supporting missionaries from the time of their calling, until retirement! More details to come!

Pastor Gaston and Lucy were approved by Nazarene Global Missions as Sponsored Missionaries to Spain in the Eurasia Region. In early 2022, they began pastoring in Polígono Norte en Sevilla, Spain on a 2-year assignment.
Gaston and Lucy are the first Canadians to be approved as “Sponsored Missionaries”. A missionary serving through sponsored deployment is primarily funded by the local community and will serve a localized need in the field. Affirmed by the local church, district, and the Church of the Nazarene, he or she will serve a maximum of four years in the field with no previous ministry experience required.

We invite churches and individuals to support Pastor Gaston and Lucy through your prayers, by inviting them to speak at your church or at an online event, and by giving towards funding their mission to Spain. CLICK HERE for more information.

Are you, or is someone you know called to ministry?  The DMTC is a great place to explore aspects of Christian ministry and to gain a strong foundation for ministry in the church and in the world.  Courses are open to those pursuing a vocational call to ministry, and to those who simply want to have more knowledge and skills for serving God in their local churches and communities.
