Dinners for Kids, founded nine years ago by David and Edna Tevet, has provided more than 300,000 meals to food insecure children in the Greater Wyoming Valley. Currently more than 160 children receive 6 dinner meals each week, 52 weeks per year, delivered to their homes by volunteers at no cost to their families.
How is this possible? It is thanks to the financial support of our community and the many volunteers who package and deliver the meals.
Contributing to this essential financial support, the Dinners for Kids second annual dinner will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 on Misericordia University’s campus @ 5:30 PM.
That evening Misericordia University Dr Thomas (MU President) & Vanessa Botzman and Joe DeVizia will be honored!
