RE Kickoff
Thank you to all the children and families who came to our RE Kickoff this past Sunday! With a whopping 10 children (including infants, toddlers, and lower-elementary age kids), we started the RE year off right with crafts, games, and balloons! Families who were not able to make it to the kickoff will still be able to register their child(ren) for the RE Program any other Sunday of the year.

Ready for Your Close Up?
If you didn’t get your picture taken for the Directory in February, you have another opportunity this Sunday, September 22, when Aaron Jones will do the next photo shoot after the service. We hope to get everybody’s picture in the Directory, but if you prefer not to be included, it is fine, just let Gisela know so that she won’t send you reminders! Thanks you for your cooperation.
CUUPs Mabon Ritual - September 22
The 2nd of the harvest festivals, Mabon is the second time of the year to specifically commune with nature. The autumn equinox focuses on the cooler aspects than summer solstice does. The festival is represented by the harvest of corn, along with the other products in your garden that are ready to be harvested.
We invite those of you who are interested in participating in this ritual to bring an item of food or drink to share at the potluck that follows the ceremony. We will gather at 6:30 pm and begin our ceremony promptly at 7:00 pm.
Give to CMU Public Media, Help the UUFCM
We are once again collecting for CMU Public Media. In the fall, we pool our resources together in order to purchase air time on CMU Public Radio. Depending on the amount gathered, we get 1-2 ads per week for a good part of the year. Please make your check to “CMU Public Media” and give it to Mary Alsager. Together we do great things!
