The Future is Now: 2050 is coming… And sooner than we think

Achieving full industry decarbonization by 2050 will, quite literally, require all hands on deck. But it will also mean adopting new and continuously innovative technologies and solutions to meet this goal. In an increasingly dynamic world, it is nearly impossible to track the latest and greatest technology and solutions that will shape the future of our industry to achieve greater efficiency and sustainability.

At SHIPPINGInsight our goal is to filter through some of these providers to bring the global shipping audience some of the most innovative new companies--and this year we’re bringing them to Posidonia 2022 in the SHIPPINGInsight New Tech Pavilion (booth 2.468 in the American Pavilion). With the subsequent launch of a global SHARK TANK on Thursday, June 9 at 15.15 in the Central Seminar Room, we will all be able to hear, first-hand, from those that are guiding this industry transformation, and bringing the future to now.

We’ll hear from Attender who will share how shipowners and managers can streamline supply chains and operations using industry-leading AI backed by eight decades of maritime leadership and experience. ShipSafe Maritime Technologies will show us their suite of offerings to address cybersecurity risks, architecture, and how to protect your vessels and operations 24/7/365. FuelTrust will share how to create a trusted and sustainable bunker supply chain ecosystem and drive decarbonization through data transparency. SHIPNEXT will demonstrate their innovative AI shipping platform that helps manage shipping data, process email, and digitalize workflows and trade. In the New Tech Pavilion, P Ship Systems, will share how they are sustainably turning evaporated water from ships into a steady stream of freshly produced drinking & cooking water, resulting in increased mariner welfare and a healthier planet.

If you are at Posidonia, stop by the SHIPPINGInsight New Tech Pavilion (booth 2.468) and meet our innovators firsthand.  Then plan to attend both the “Trading in US Waters” seminar and the SHIPPINGInsight SHARK TANK both held in the Central Seminar Room beginning at 1030.

The only question to ask yourself is: where will you be tomorrow – still in the past, or joining SHIPPINGInsight in helping to shape the future?

Keep Optimizing,
