Lockdown events in Buxton
While we may all still be confined to quarters, except for essential trips and daily exercise, there is still plenty going on it and around the town.
Monday 11 May - Buxton & Leek College - Virtual Country Fair
The College is hosting a variety of family-friendly competitions which have been specially designed to showcase the talents of its brilliant apprentices- who have each come up with the ideas for the events and will be helping judge entries.
All of these competitions are completely free to enter for all ages. Full details on the BLC website
John Goddard is seeking volunteers to water the hanging baskets along the Waitrose entrance to the Springs shopping centre which are due to be put up towards the end of May.
It takes approximately 20 minutes per day, depending on the weather. You will be needed either for a couple of nights each week or on a week on, week off basis.
For further details ring John on: 07397 954980 or email email@example.com
