Dear Faith Family,

I’m not a night person. At 8 o’clock I’m wondering why I’m the only one in my house ready to call it a day and head to bed. I never remember pulling an all-nighter in college, and I possibly slept through most of the middle of the night feedings with newborns even though I was doing the feeding. Suffice it to say, I like my sleep. There are few things for which I will willingly stay up until midnight, but Secret Church is one of them. Next Friday, April 29th, you’ll find me in the HUB well past 8 o’clock, and I hope you’ll join me. Secret Church is something I look forward to all year. It’s six hours of intense study of God’s word and prayer for the persecuted church. It’s a lot to take in all in one night so I often find myself going back to my notes in the days, weeks, and months following Secret Church and meditating on what God reveals that night. The intense time in the Word and prayer helps to ground me. It reminds me of who God is, who I am, and my desperate need for a Savior. It reminds me that there are still more than a billion people in the world who have not heard the gospel and Jesus’s command to pray. This year’s theme is: Who Am ? This seems to be a question many people are wrestling with today and what better place to find the answer than in God’s word. I hope you’ll join me from 6 to midnight on April 29th. I might need you to give me a nudge if I start to look sleepy. If you plan to attend, please use the link below to register and let us know you’re coming. Pizza, drinks, and snacks will be available starting at 5:30. I promise, you don’t want to miss this!

Secret Church is a unique, one-night event that will be streamed online to more than 50,000 participants around the world. Encouraged by our persecuted brothers’ and sisters’ example, we will meet for close to 6 hours for intense study of God’s Word and passionate prayer for the persecuted.

The topic of the study this year is:  Who Am I?

Life seems complicated these days. Fragmented even. And everyone has an opinion. But what does the Bible say about all of these issues? About YOU? About ME? About the 7 billion people that fill every street, town, campus, village, apartment, and neighborhood on earth?

Gender. Sexuality. Artificial Intelligence. Race. Justice. Genomics. The Metaverse.

We will have free pizza, snacks, and drinks starting at 5:30 PM.  The Secret Church Simulcast begins at 6:00 PM.

Operation Christmas Child (OCC)

The Senior Adult Ministry is sponsoring Operation Christmas Child (OCC) shoeboxes during 2022.  The suggested items for April are flashlights and jump ropes.

Senior Tuesdays

Please join us on Tuesdays from 2-4. We are busy making gifts for children around the world as we fill Operation Christmas Child boxes with a few extra items. We are learning to make beanie hats on a knitting loom, rubber band salvation bracelets, and we will be making jump ropes out of t-shirts. We need donations of old t-shirts. We are also making baby blankets out of loop it yarn to donate to new baby families.

Dominoes & puzzle tables are also available for those who just want to fellowship together.

LLL Veterans Recognition Program

We will be recognizing all veterans during our LLL Veterans Recognition Program on Tuesday, May 10th at noon in the HUB.  If you are a veteran, we would like for you to contact Susan Malone with your name, contact information and branch of military service.  You can email me at or 254-716-1724.

Lord's Supper

This Sunday, April 24, we will be observing the Lord’s Supper at the end of our worship service.  This is always such a special time to remember the broken body and shed blood of Jesus.  It is also a fresh reminder of the fellowship we enjoy as brothers and sisters in Christ.  We will have elements available as you enter the Worship Center on Sunday.

We are excited to return to Mt. Lebanon this summer for pre-teen camp. If your child has completed 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th grade, we hope you will join us for a week of great fun & great worship. This year's Camp Pastor is Jesse Joyner with music by Yancy. Cost: $205, payable by June 12th.

Summer Kids' Club is right around the corner and registration is now OPEN!

We are so excited to be hosting our Summer Kids' Clubs in five different locations this year! Our dates this year are June 6-10 from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM.

Summer Kids' Club is an exciting way for children to enjoy 5 nights of fun, games, and crafts in a outdoor environment. This year we are kicking creativity into high gear with our new Spark Studios theme.  We are going to be teaching kids that God is the Master Artist of all things.  Kids will see the beautiful truth that they are God's worksmanship as they learn to use their talents to bring glory to God.

Registration is easy.  Just click the link below and fill out the form with the location you'd like to attend.

This Summer, we've got an exciting opportunity for families of all ages and sizes to serve together.  Are you single, retired, a family of 2, or a family of many more?  This trip is for you!

We have worked out a partnership with Glorieta Camps in New Mexico to spend a week (July 2-8) on campus helping them with a variety of projects. Glorieta is an incredible place with a rich heritage of transforming lives with the Gospel.  Our team will mobilize families to help with painting, minor repairs, cleaning, organizing, and any other projects on campus.

It is a beautiful place and perfect for families to serve together!  The cost of the trip will be around $500 per family and less for couples or singles.  This includes:  lodging, food, and supplies.  It doesn't cover the cost of travel to and from Glorieta or any excursions or extra activities while there.  If you'd like more information or to sign up, please fill out the registration form below!

April Prayer Focus & Bible Reading Plan

Each month, we as a church family are seeking to consistently read God's Word and pray for the Gospel to be known in different parts of the world.  Our April edition of Together for the Gospel is now available at the church or by clicking here

Our prayer focus for the month of April is:  North Africa.

B & K have asked us to pray this week for a new media campaign that is encouraging people to begin reading God's Word.  These ads are running in some of the least reached places in the region.  Pray for open hearts and minds to these ads.  Ask God to use this media campaign to draw people to a closer relationship with Him!
