 CardBoard Cut-Outs
Even in Europe, the spectre of playing top matches in Empty Stadiums is a threat, that might be healthy, but certainly would lack atmosphere eh ?
The players would miss those thousands cheering for their team, but lateral thinking can overcome anything, and Borussia Moenchengladbach came up with a  novel solution, when they propped up large photographic cut-outs of their Supporters -
see the  pic above.
Good creative management turned the project into a  fund raiser that netted big bucks as avid supporters - more than 8000 - at time of print, paid for their Pics to be propped up in the home grandstand.           Incredibly - other teams have joined in, and want pics of their supporters to prop up at the 'other end.'      Its all a Giggle eh ?

More Lookalike Lutz Masks
Our classy German keeper Lutz Pfannenstiel. was so popular when he eventually left Otago. I made a swag of ' Lutz Lookalike' paper masks that his admiring kids fan club all wore, to wave goodbye at his farewell match.
Sadly I can't find pics of the event - Anyone got those Pics ?

During this lockdown time our football community can continue to learn ‘for free’, and expand their knowledge of player welfare concepts, philosophies and practices. These are done in 30-40 minute informative presentations, with an aim to ensure everyone is football ready when we are able to hopefully kick-start the season.
