 SPL SPLIT Looms Large ...
Seems early, but Results this weekend could shape the future SPL Split as we face midway - and the dreaded Split Looms Large with Top and Bottom destinies ...
           Saturday
on the Tago Turf, at 3.15 the Scarfies will have set their Alarm clocks to get up for their first match against Qtown Quick Firers - who have scored 18 goals for two against - enough to have the Ivory Towers quivering.
Then at normal KO time - 2,45 pm, there's the Green Island V Caversham clash at Sunnyvale, plus Northern v Mosgiel at Forrester, and Roslyn is touring in Central Otago seeking its first win of the season against Wanaka.
           Instead of the seven player
Varsity B Womens fiasco of last week, maybe they will have a full squad out this week against Green Island in the early game on the Turf. Hurdle training might pay off...
Other 12.30 KOs are - Roslyn v Mosgiel Women at Ellis, and In Queenstown the home side p[lays Varsity Womens A side - should be an interesting game. Other evening matches are scheduled for next midweek.
