Hey readers,

You are reading the final vulekamali newsflash for 2019! It has been 18 months since vulekamali was launched on the 20th February 2018, in Parliament, in Cape Town. Since then we hosted a Civic Information Drive in every province and progressed through to Stage 3 of vulekamali's development

In this newsflash, you'll find a summary of our highlights from November. We held a Civic Information Drive, National Treasury received special recognition at the Public Sector Innovation Award for vulekamali and we released new content on the portal.

Thank you for reading, and thank you for your budget work.

Stronger together with North West Province.

The citizens, government officials, civil society organisations and businesses that participated in the North West CID engaged with, challenged and inspired the vulekamali team. The 2-day CID was filled with passionate questions and a willingness to engage by the 40 participants.

Stay tuned to our social media as will be sharing videos and pictures from the event soon.
Meet our North West Civic Information Drive Champion
Lead: Bonolo Monye, Deputy Director, North West Provincial Government.

The North West team was lead by Bonolo and formed a critical part of the vulekamali micro-team that plans and executes the provincial Civic Information Drives.  In addition, Bonolo presented the provincial budget process at the CID in Mahikeng.
