Building Your Teacher Toolkit

Chris Colley is the bomb! He is very knowledgeable about anything tech related. Don’t get him started on Scratch and robotics! Teachers who want to up their tech knowledge will love this workshop.

I’m too [Blank] for PD!

Marc V, as we like to call him, is one heck of an advocate for the VT sector. In his workshop he wants to talk to teachers about PD that works for them. This is an honest look at the work we do as consultants with the people for whom we do it: teachers like you.

What is RÉCIT AGE and what can it do for ME?

You will be in good hands with Paulette and Mona. They have a fresh look at PD and they want to share their ideas with you. You will find the answer to the age old question: “What can RÉCIT AGE do for me?” right here!

Tracy Rosen is a consultant’s consultant. She has a wealth of experience in education and digital teaching and learning. You will definitely walk away from this workshop enlightened and with a new perspective on flexibility in teaching.

Teaching a Trade: Sharing a Trade Vision on VT.PROCEDE.ca

If you need an energy boost, then go to this workshop. Robin is dynamic, passionate, and above all well-versed in the VT sector. She will bring to light some of the support that is available to the VT teachers and stakeholders.

Intervene to Succeed

We are so lucky to work with these two curriculum powerhouses. Julie and Micheline will share the Intervene to Succeed guide to help teachers connect with students in ways you may not have thought of before. This one is all about building student-teacher relationships through understanding.

The W5 of Funding Innovative Pedagogical Projects

Denise is a real expert when it comes to finding funding for unique projects. She will be sharing some of her ideas that have worked and help you take the first steps to get your piece of the “measures” pie.

Unpacking Indigenous Pedagogy

Former RÉCIT AGE turned FNI, Giovanna and her partners Curran and Julie will hold a one-hour chat about competency 15. Indigenous pedagogy really is everyone’s business if we want to respect in the classroom. They certainly know their stuff.

ACE EdCamp

What’s an EdCamp?

Online EdCamp in Gather.Town

An EdCamp is a PD event run by participants. Gather.Town, or Gather, is a virtual environment that is reminiscent of 1980's video games. They set the agenda for the day, lead sessions, and choose the topics. Learn more about the RÉCIT AGE team's experience with EdCamps here.
