🌟We are excited to share our national exam results with you.

National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) released the 2022 Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) results in late November. The PSLE is a national examination held annually for pupils that have completed grade 7, the end of their primary school education.

We are proud to report that Precious English Medium School (PEMS) is ranked #1 in the District out of 171 schools. It is reported that 37 of the 39 students that sat for the exam scored all 'A's' in each subject area. "We are very proud of our students and teachers, who have worked incredibly hard and managed to stay on top for two consecutive years," said co-founder Gil Williams.

This is an incredible accomplishment considering the Precious English Medium Primary School opened its doors only six years ago, in January 2016. At the time, the primary school was just a two-story building with nine classrooms that educated 180 students from pre-K to 7th grade. With the help of our generous donors, we have grown exponentially and are now able to provide primary school education to nearly 440 students.

William Modest, co-founder emphasized, 'our teachers have done a very good job to make sure these students pass their National Exams with flying colors. Asante Sana (thank you very much in Swahili) to our donors for standing beside us and being ready to support these children tirelessly. We could not have reached this far without your dedication and readiness."

Everyone (students, teachers, and staff members) were very excited to hear this outstanding news. In a moment to honor this great accomplishment, the students were treated to a day of celebration as they loaded up on the busses and traveled around the Usariver area cheering and singing loudly, followed by an afternoon of dance.
