DRIVE BY AND DROP OFF IS THIS SATURDAY

10:00 AM TO 12:00 NOON
Just a reminder that members of the Active Outreach Committee are going to be collecting donations of non-perishable food items and household essentials for the Bridgewater Food Pantry in the parking lot behind the church this Saturday, May 30th from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon.

For those who wanted guidance on what to donate, we did contact the Pantry to find out if they had any specific items they need. Here’s the list:
 Breakfast and lunch essentials
 Loaves of bread
 Cans of pineapple
 Rice Pilaf
If you would prefer to make a monetary donation, make your check out to the Bridgewater Food Pantry and we’ll be happy to deliver it. The Pantry uses monetary donations primarily to purchase food for pennies on the dollar from the Greater Boston Food Bank.

We have received a nice thank you note from Jack Meltzer, Director of the Bridgewater Food Pantry, acknowledging the food donations we dropped off in your behalf at the end of April and the beginning of May. Thanks to the support received from the Bridgewater community, including Trinity Church, the Pantry has remained well-stocked as the need for food assistance has increased during the coronavirus epidemic. In April alone, the Bridgewater Food Pantry provided assistance to 89 local families.
If anyone is interested in helping out with our monthly “Drive By and Drop Offs”, please contact Pat Bates at 508-947-7712 to volunteer.
Thank you again to all the Trinity parishioners who so generously supported our previous food drives for the Bridgewater Food Pantry! We hope to see you all on Saturday!

SAVE POSTAGE: WE’LL BE HAPPY TO TAKE YOUR TRINITY PLEDGES AND MAKE SURE THEY GET INTO THE OFFICE!

Remember the fun we had, lets do it again,  Hope to see you there!

FOOD MINISTRY UPDATE

A number of parishioners have asked whether we plan to continue our Saturday “Drive-By” food collections for the Bridgewater Food Pantry.  With the significant increase in demand for food pantry services, and in light of your enthusiastic support of our two, Saturday “Drive By and Drop Off” events, we are pleased to announce that we will be continuing to collect non-perishable food items and household essentials for the Pantry until the current need subsides.

We hope you’ll consider including a few items to donate to the Pantry.  Simply Drive-By & Drop Off your donations at church between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon on the last Saturday of each month. (That's this Saturday Boys and GIrls)

Our next Drive-By & Drop Off date will be this Saturday, May 30th.  Thank you in advance for generously sharing what you have with those in need in our community!

Trinity Cares!!
Returning to meet the need, and to share in the blessings that we have been given, we, once again, will be available to give back to our own community.

The Bridgewater Food Pantry is in need of any and all items. In an effort to reach out and help our community, on Saturday, May 30, Pat Bates and Paula Keenan will once again be at the back of the church at the door to the kitchen, once  again, from 10:00 am-12:00 noon. They will be there to collect items such as canned goods, rice, pasta, pasta sauce, non-perishables, cereal, oatmeal, etc. We will then deliver them to the food pantry.

Oh and one more thing........

If you are going to stop by and drop off your donation for the Food Pantry, we would be happy to collect any pledges or donations to the church, at that time as well.

We thank you for your continuing support of this and all our vital ministries.

"May God continue to bless you and keep you; make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; may  He lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.”
-Numbers 6:24-26

As we try to care for one another, and remain in touch, please feel free to email me directly.  During this challenging time, more then ever, we need to be in touch, and connected to one another.  If you have any information, notices, bulletins, and etc., for the good of the group, please email me at: revjwkelliher@gmail.com and I will get it out as soon as possible.

Remember we are truly all connected and in this together,  Let's not forget to 'be kind to one another'
