In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Nordic Innovation is running the second round of circular economy workshops under the Circular Business Models in the Nordic Manufacturing Industry project.

We sat down with our Senior Innovation Adviser Elís Benediktsson to talk about the new workshops and if Nordic manufacturing companies are still working on going circular despite the ongoing pandemic.

A New Platform Will Help Citizens and Healthcare Personnel to Find Quality Health Apps

Nordic Innovation has co-funded the Nordic Digital Health & Medication Platform project, which will establish and operate a Nordic marketplace for accreditation and distribution service for digital health apps within the healthcare and the preventive care segment in the Nordic region.

The project is run by a strong Nordic consortia and will make an important contribution in the shift from sick care to preventive health – and thus supports our vision to make the Nordic region the most sustainable and integrated health region in the world by 2030.

Opening Doors for Nordic Companies in Canada

The Nordic-Canada Health Collective, a pioneering health tech collaboration between all the five Nordic trade promotion organizations in Canada, led to sales and partnerships for Nordic SMEs in the Canadian healthcare market.

The Colletive was co-financed by Nordic Innovation as part of the Nordic Welfare Solutions special initiative.

New date: Circular Business Models in the Nordic Manufacturing Industry - Track B

Are you looking into how to work circular economy into your business models?

During a series of workshops we offer companies a possibilty to iterate a business idea with other participants, to start detailing how to work together with your partner companies in an ecosystem, and to develop a plan on how to design, prototype and scale the product/service. Track B is for companies that already have a more matured understanding of the circular economy.
