Winter is coming, and though many people dread it, it's my favorite season since I love the cold and snow. Actually, horses are better equipped for the cold than they are the heat so for many this is their best season. For others it is harder, especially the old or unwell horses, and those with arthritis and digestive issues. It is also a time to make hard decisions about blankets, clipping and even shoeing to cope with the weather conditions. So, I will be giving a webinar on tackling the issues of winter horse keeping, on Tuesday, Dec 1. And the good news is that the crazy works schedule of the summer has calmed down and I can take new clients both for phone consults and in person treatments.
Get out and be with your horse and enjoy the cool fresh weather.
