Once again Westfest did not disappoint.
Set against a backdrop of the perfect summer evening, stilt walkers, bunting galore and a World Cup Quarter Final, the sell-out event was a cracker!
Enormous thanks to the parents and teachers who, once again, made this event possible. The music, food, decorations, auction, stalls and all that goes into setting up and packing away is only possible because of the help, generosity and talent we have amongst the school community. So a HUGE thank you to you all.
So, drum-roll please………
……this year we made a spectacular £8845!
Without you buying tickets, draining the cocktail bar, bidding on the auction and being involved in the school events, this would not be possible. So thanks to all who came to the event. We hope you had a lovely evening.

In September we are looking to expand the WPSA and would love to have more parents involved.
We have several committee positions to fill and are also hoping to get more general input from parents across the year groups at the regular meetings. Attending the meetings enables us to use parent feedback to improve events and get more ideas about ways to raise funds for the school.
If you would like to find out more about the WPSA or have any feedback please come along to the first meeting in the Autumn term. (The date will be announced at the start of term).
Getting involved with the WPSA doesn't need to mean giving up lots of your spare time, it's just a really nice way to find out more about what the school does with the money raised as well as having a chance to shape the events we run going forward.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s events and have got some awesome ideas forming! So come along to the next meeting and find out more...
Have a brilliant Summer!

What is the WPSA?
The Westbury Park School Association is the fundraising arm of the school. Every parent is automatically a member of the WPSA, and meetings are open to anyone who would like to attend. It is governed by a committee of volunteers. The money the WPSA raises through its events is used by the school to give the children some great opportunities. In the last few years WPSA money has been used to improve the KS1 playground, pay for House enrichment sessions and provide musical and IT equipment, among many other things. If you would like to find out more about the WPSA or join the committee please come along to the meeting, we would love to see you there.
