Lane Boys Soccer won their first regional title since 2016 against the Evanston Wildkits this past weekend. This victory was redemption for last year when Lane lost via penalties to Evanston in the regional championship game. No. 8 seed Lane entered as the underdog on Saturday to No. 2 seed Evanston, but an early goal would end up being all Lane needed as the Champions rolled to a 2-0 win. Editor-In-Chief Alex Burstein has more on Lane's victory.

“The timeline of 'Blonde' is largely based on the man that Monroe was involved with at that time, which is arguably not very interesting. Basically, the entire film is from the perspective of men, and we barely see past the sexualized image of her. It also eroticized the concept of ‘daddy issues’ specifically through Monroe’s relationships, which only further perpetuated her ‘promiscuity,’” writes A&E editor Nina Figurelli in her review of the new movie “Blonde,” a film based roughly on Marilyn Monroe’s life.
