The Lane Local School Council met on September 15, 2022, their first meeting since the start of school. They made four resolutions, which included recognizing actor and Lane alumni Rodney To. Further announcements were made regarding numerous topics along with a Principal's Report on the school year so far. Editor-In-Chief Megan Mesikapp has more on all of the topics discussed.

“The cast is incredibly diverse, with positive LGBTQ+ representation, and the characters each have their own complex arcs. This is incredibly refreshing to see on mainstream television. More shows than I can count have token minority characters whose identities inherently serve as comic relief. This is what ‘Never Have I Ever’ does well — it exemplifies the idea that minority characters don’t exist just to be the punch line,” Assistant Editor Avaani Julka writes in her review of “Never Have I Ever” Season 3.
