Best wishes The VARB Team
A huge thank you to all the volunteers who agreed to share their stories for our new film 'Doing good does you good' at the start of Volunteers Week.  We think it's a powerful example of the difference that volunteering makes to organisations, the people supported by them and to volunteers themselves.  We hope you enjoy watching it and please share with anyone you think might like to see it.
Renewed Hope supports homeless and vulnerable people who need a friendly face and a listening ear.  Their Redhill drop-in is a welcoming place for people to come and chat, have a free meal together and form new friendships.  They work in partnership with agencies, helping people engage with statutory bodies including council housing departments and housing associations, JobCentre Plus, the probation service and health services as well as voluntary support services.

Volunteers offer a friendly face and listening ear – and make endless cups of tea and home-cooked meals!  They are looking for volunteers for their Redhill drop-in:

👥 Can you bring out the best in people?  Volunteer Mentors are needed to support adults, young people and families in Surrey.  Surrey Care Trust's next course for Volunteer Mentors is on Wednesday 13 July, 9.30am - 5.30pm, in Bletchingley.

Stripes for Stripey Day
Thursday 23 June
This Thursday's Stripes4Stripey day asks everyone to wear something Stripey and donate to Stripey Stork.  Money raised will be used to buy new items of clothing, including pants, socks and pyjamas, that are added to pre-loved clothing packs for children.
