for an important and timely update from HIAS

As Vice President for HIAS’ community engagement work Merrill Zack supports a fantastic team in developing educational resources, advocacy and volunteer opportunities, and public actions and programs that energize and prepare the American Jewish community to take action in support of refugees.

With a new administration coming into office, Merrill will share HIAS's priority advocacy agenda items, so that we can take action on behalf of refugees and asylum seekers. We are at the precipice of hope as President-Elect Joe Biden has promised to "reassert America’s commitment to asylum-seekers and refugees."
