Email from Chris Goldman

If you received an email claiming to be from Pastor Chris Goldman asking you to purchase gift cards, THIS IS A FRAUDULENT SCAM, and please delete the email immediately. The NWChurch has not generated this email and any money donated by purchasing gift cards will be a complete loss if you do. We wanted to alert you to this scam immediately and are hoping no one falls for this commonly used hoax. Many churches and organizations have fallen prey to this scam…make sure you don’t!

PLEASE NOTE: ANY TIME YOU RECEIVE AN EMAIL LIKE THIS YOU CAN KNOW IT IS A HOAX AND NORTHWEST CHURCH LEADERS AND OR MINISTRIES WOULD NEVER SOLICIT FUNDS IN THIS MANNER.

The fraudulent emails read as follows:

First FALSE Email:

Do you have a moment I have a request I need you to handle discreetly.
I'm going for a meeting now, no calls so just reply my email

Second FALSE FOLLOW-UP Email:

I need 9qty of Amazon Or Visa gift cards $100 value on each (total
$900) you should get them at any local store around you. After you get
them take a clear pictures of each cards front and back having removed
them from the packs and send to me on here so I can distribute them to
the staffs in my list. Please keep the physical cards and receipt for
reference and reimbursement purpose.
