Onyx Monthly NewsletterJanuary 2023 |
 |
Greetings Onyx Family! We have arrived… The time has come and it seems to NEVER get old. Year after year we celebrate (or loathe) this time of year. A time where we yell “New year, new me!” from the rooftops, talk about repetitious New Year's resolutions, and have conversations with ourselves around the things we personally dislike or want to change. Recently, I read a quote that said, “The beginning is the most important part of the work,” and boy did this hit home! In last year's newsletter, we requested that you shift your state of mind - focus on the HOW. How we can start the year as best as we can, how we can pace ourselves and set realistic goals for every day, every week and ultimately every month. Let’s think about those moments of joy at the beginning of the year that we WANT to have, and the goals that we NEED to accomplish to live our best lives. Focusing on how we can make the beginning of the year great will flow into the duration of the year…remember…it’s all about the state of mind.

To help you set your intentions for another year, listen to this beautiful playlist that the Onyx staff has created titled “New Year, New Me” - get ready to JAM and reflect at the same time! You can listen to the full Spotify playlist here. As we focus on what that means for each of us, Onyx can help with that as we host our first event of 2023 with our Onyx @ The Eaton - Vision Board Party on February 5th. In celebration of 10 years of Onyx, come join us at the Eaton Hotel in DC for a day of manifestation, positive vibes, and resources to help guide us through the year. Let’s get it, Onyx fam!! |
