A Heart of Gratitude
We are Unstoppable Together!
We serve an amazing God! Our Founder and CEO, Jennifer Foxworthy celebrated her birthday on June 27th. To highlight her special day, Jennifer hosted her third annual Facebook Fundraiser For a Cause, and chose UYM as the charity to receive donations. UYM set the goal at $2,000.00. Throughout the whole month of June, people from all over the country contributed. When it was all said and done on June 30th, UYM received $4,238.00 in donations! We are so overjoyed and can't thank our Unstoppable You Community for their unswerving support and generosity. The money received will help us provide more bibles to the homeless, emergency services to domestic violence and human trafficking victims, as well as training to bring awareness to these issues we are very passionate about.
#COVID19ISNOTTHEONLYPANDEMIC Like many organizations planning events, UYM has had to pivot on how we educate, equip, and empower the community on domestic violence awareness. On July 18th, we hosted our first virtual event via Zoom. It was a live studio audience for our television show, Living Unshackled ON Purpose with Jennifer Foxworthy. Jennifer interviewed two subject matter expert panelists (Jennifer L. Edwards, LCPC-S, NCC, CISM, Abuser Intervention Program Facilitator and Madelyn Rodriguez, Founder and CEO of Elevation Consulting). They provided information about intimate partner abuse, gave amazing testimonials, and shared valuable resources. Also, there was an opportunity for attendees to engage in a Q&A with our guest panelists. Overall, it was our desire to help the masses break free from the chains of abuse, low self-worth, and low self-esteem. The video for this event is forthcoming, however if you would like to watch our previous episodes, visit our Youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9JzF6Q0J51vnv_1ca82yIw?view_as=public
Unstoppable You Ministries is very grateful for YOU!! Thank you for believing and coming alongside our mission and vision.
