Advent is a time to magnify the Lord, to proclaim the greatness of God and to rejoice in the presence of our savior who is worthy to be praised. Advent is the time to celebrate God’s love that came from heaven to us!
Call to Worship
Our souls magnify the Lord.
Our spirits rejoice in our Savior.
God has done great things for us.
Holy is his name.
God’s mercy is always near.
He lifts up the humble heart.
God’s love fills us up.
His grace renews our lives.
Opening Prayer
Almighty God, pour out your Spirit on us and fill our hearts with your goodness and love. Live in us that we may share your light for all to see. Overshadow us with your presence, that we might be share your blessing of love with the world. Amen.
